About Awana

All children through 6th grade meet weekly on Wednesday nights from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM, the first Wednesday after Labor Day through to the first Wednesday in May. We are kicking off this year on September 3rd, 2025 at 6:30pm.

Children learn Bible Verses, play team games, and hear Bible stories. Awana equips children to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The name Awana is an acronym from 2 Timothy 2:15, “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.”

Nursery Care is available for families who have children attending another program age group or who are attending a Wednesday night Adult Class. Children in the nursery must still be registered.

Puggles is the toddler age group (ages 2 - 3)

Cubbies is the preschool age group (ages 4 - 5)

Sparks is for kindergarten through second grade

Truth and Training (T&T) is for third through sixth grade

Awana Activities
Kids can earn points by participating in the theme of the week such as: Crazy Hair, Backwards, or Hawaiian Nights. Kids learn Bible verses at their own pace, earning Awana dollars and award. At the end of the club each year children who complete books receive ribbons or plaques. With their Awana dollars children can buy items such as: toys, candy, hats and shirts. Each year we have movie nights, game nights, the Awana Grand Prix, and more!

AWANA provides a fun space for kids to grow and learn! 
Join us each week for games, snacks, stories, Bible verse memorization and more!  Fun events throughout the year include the AWANA Grand Prix, Ultimate Game Night, holiday celebrations, and more!

AWANA for the 2025-26 school year will kickoff on September 3rd, 2025 and will continue each Wednesday at 6:30pm - 8:00pm. We have some fun in store for our AWANA kickoff!
