History

In 2003, Grace Community Church began a Christmas tradition by presenting a dessert theater for the community. The performances are a mix of drama and music centered around the birth of Jesus and the joy and He brings us.

Get involved

Heart of the Holidays dessert theatre performances are Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening the first or second week of December. Rehearsals begin after Labor Day. Improv sessions run throughout the year. There are many ways to be a part of Heart of the Holidays: prayer, drama, music, sets, tech, props, costumes, makeup, photography, videography, script writing, prop and costume creation, publicity, table setting, decorating, greeting, making desserts and serving guests.
